PRESENT:

1. APOLOGIES

2. TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS INTERESTS
None.
3. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The Chairman asked if everyone had both received and read the minutes of the last meeting, if so, were they a true record. ALL AGREED that the minutes were a true record. The minutes were duly signed and dated.
4. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES
There were none.
5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Dog mess is still a problem everywhere. People must inform the Dog Warden if seeing someone letting their dog foul where it shouldn't.
Children have been spotted throwing stone at cars near the green at the bottom of Cherry Tree. Public to iinform police when they spot this happening.
6. FINANCE REPORT
The account balance was read out to Councillors and as usual all books were on the table for any member of the public to read.
a) The balance of the ordinary account now stands at £2,809.45. The savings at £19,340.33. Money paid in is £0.28 in Interest on Current Account.
b) The following cheques were authorised by the council: Clerk's wages (for past month) £212, cheque for Wicksteed £3,891.82
c) The External Audit has been completed by the Clerk and was presented to all Councillors to view. It was proposed by Cllr. Wrighton and seconded by Cllr. Bowditch to approve Section 1 - Statement of Accounts, Section 2 - Annual Governance Statement. It was noted that all the answers to Section 2 were Yes other than where they were not applicable. This was agreed and accepted by all.
7. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
1/D/09/000703 - Rosebarton, Pymore Lane - Extension
Comments were needed before ht emeeting and it was felt there were no concerns.
1/D/09/000718 - 1- Allington Mead - Single Storey Extension
Comments were needed before the meeting and it was felt there were no concerns.
1/D/09/000769 - 96 Orchard Avenue - Two storey extension
There were no objections
1/D/09/000738 - Flaxhayes Field - construct 3 new dwellings with associated gardens and garages
There wer no objections
8. CHERRY TREE PLAY AREA REFURBISHMENT
This has now been completed. It was noted that the rubberised tarmac was laid when it was raining a little.
The new springy toy seems to be possibly too springy as when children are on it thet can get the seat to touch the ground
9. CHERRY TREE PLAY AREA REPORT As above but Mr McAllister also informed the council that the gate wasn't shutting properly and he would spray it with WD40.
10. WOODLAND TRUST PLAY AREA
Cllr. P. Bowditch said all was fine.
11. CORRESPONDENCE
Various which were all available to read.
