1. APOLOGIES

2. TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS INTERESTS
Cllr. P. Lathey and Cllr. I. Gay in item 7 - Planning - Swiss Cottage.
3. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The Chairman asked if everyone had both received and read the minutes of the last meeting, if so, were they a true record. ALL AGREED that the minutes were a true record. The minutes were duly signed and dated.
4. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES
Verge still awaiting to be properly cut back in Hospital Lane.
Bus Shelter still awaiting repair. Cllr lathey and Cllr Gay have been unable to undertake this due to the bad weather
5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Drain blocked opposite bus shelter (at bottom end of Hospital Lane). Inform Highways. Drain blocked near Magna garages - inform Magna.
Dog mess being left in bags in Hospital Lane.
Cllr Lathey informed all that on Thursday 17th December the Trick Factory (indoor skate and bmx park) will be having an open evening to showcase the good work. Starts at 6pm.
Rubbish building up behind numbers 8 and 10 Cherry Tree. Inform Magna.
6. FINANCE REPORT
The account balance was read out to Councillors and as usual all books were on the table for any member of the public to read.
a) The Current Account stands at £9.078.78 The savings account stands at £10,503.78 Money in is 88p in Interest on Current account. Money out since last meeting is a cheque for External Auditors at £155.25
b) The following cheques were authorised by the council: Clerk's wages (for past month) £214, SLCC subs £72, Viking Direct £72.66, S215 donation to St Saviours Church £315
7. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
1/D/09/001813 - Colly Farm, Atrim Road, Dottery - two storey extension and internal and external altertions. No objections subject to Listed Building Officers comments.
1/D/09/001677 - Tomlen, Hillview Estate - Due to members interest in this item and lack of other councillors it was felt best to leave this to the decision of Bridport Town Council.
8. CHERRY TREE PLAY AREA REPORT
Don reported that all was fine. Not being used much at the moment due to the bad weather, which was giving the grass a chance to recover and grow well.
9. WOODLAND TRUST PLAY AREA
Cllr. P. Bowditch said all was fine. Again it is not being used much at the moment due to the bad weather.
10. CORRESPONDENCE Various which were all available to read including a letter from DCC giving the results of the Spped Indicator device positioned at Hospital Lane. 85% of traffic was not exceeding the spped limit which DCC feel is acceptable. Cllr Lathey proposed we ask them to undertake this again in March and position the deive neaer to the bus stop/Allington Gardens.
