3. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
Unfortunately the wrong minutes had been given out so the January minutes will be agreed at the March meeting
4. MATTERS ARISING FROM THOSE MINUTES
As per item 3
5. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
The state of the garden at 28 Cherry Tree is still a cause for concern. Clerk to chase Magna Housing Association again.
Very large pot hole outside No. 10 Cherry Tree. Clerk to inform Highways.
Tile off roof at 8 Cherry Tree. Clerk to inform Magna.
Still no light sorted at the garages in Cherry Tree. Clerk to chase Magna again.
Dog mess still an issue as is now being left in bags near Home Farm/Trustin Close.
6. FINANCE REPORT
The account balance was read out to Councillors and as usual all books were on the table for any member of the public to read.
a) The Current Account stands at £7,571.29 The savings account stands at £10,503.78 Money in is 78p in Interest on Current account.
b) The following cheques were authorised by the council: Clerk's wages (for past month) £214
7. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
1/D/09/000101 - 50 West Allington (adjoining consultation). Alterations to enlarge vehicular access including drop kerb. No objections.
1/D/09/000086 - Allington Lane Cottage. Single storey extension and replace fenestration and replace porch. Concerns were raised about the footpath which is the access to this cottage. Althought there were no objections to the planning application it was felt we need to make the Planning Department aware that the footpath needs to remain open during the work and should not be damaged.
1/D/09/000085 - 2 Pond End, Pymore. Single storey rear extension. No objections.
1/D/09/000146 - 96 Orchard Avenue. Would leave to Bridport Town Council to decide as adjoining consultation.
8. TO RECEIVE AND AGREE RISK ASSESSMENT AND REVIEW EFFECTIVENESS OF INTERNAL AUDIT
This was duly read out and explained to all. It was accepted by all. Proposer: Cllr. Bowditch. Seconder: Cllr. Gay.
9. CHERRY TREE PLAY AREA REPORT
Don said there was loads of rubbish in the play area although he has moved what he can. Clerk to inform Chairman.
10. WOODLAND TRUST PLAY AREA
Cllr. P. Bowditch said all was fine. A little bit of rubbish. He said that the Woodland Trust need to look t the main gate into the field as the post is broken, also the steps in the top of the field need sorting. Clerk to inform Woodland Trust.
11. CORRESPONDENCE
Various which were available to read. An update from Magna with regards to the Flaxhayes Paddock project was that they needed suggested street names in the next year. It is suggested we invite the local schools to come up with ideas.,
